this work is a sound installation, we use 210 pieces of alarm clocks and hang them in a white box. we definately tune the clock and the alarm as simoutaneous as we can , however, due to the operating flaw of each clock,every clocks are not alarming at the same time but alarming in random order, the alarm clocks are actually composing the rythm since their working flaw, we found it is interesting because the alarming sound will be different everytime according to the working flaw of the clocks and the 'do,do' sound of the alarms become a continuous tone since to the mass amount of alarm clocks.
This is an impressive work. Though I had never gone inside the room, but I could imagine how I would feel, when I got inside the little, and full of pressure room. There are hundreds of second hands of the clocks that give us pressure, which is exactly the same with when we are under the deadline. We want to get out of the room because of the stress the second hands create. We also want to escape from the deadline too.
